This is so inaccurate because it's mostly stuff I listened to at the gym over and over and over. It makes me look like I listen to about a grand total of three bands...which isn't at all true.

So let’s see. I didn’t sleep well last night. I had a hard time getting my brain to turn off for the night. I just keep thinking about all the things I need to do in the next couple of weeks. I have some car issues I have to figure out, I have to figure out what to do with my cell phone, I have to finish these damn MSW application essays, I need to decide if I want to keep working three jobs or cut back to two and how will that affect my finances? And I forgot to find coverage for when I’m in Chicago. Oh and when is that Ani Difranco concert anyway? My mind just races from one thing to another. I need to sleep.
"So I have to write an essay about why I want to be a social worker. I think I'm going to write that I lack the talent to be a rock star, so I have no choice but to be a social worker."
What movie can you quote by heart?

High Fidelity, of course. I have this bad habit of randomly quoting it. No one gets it. I am a dork.

Tell us a little something about your first car. Do you have any photos you can share?
Submitted by tamara.
It was a brown 1981 Toyota Corolla. When I got it, it barely ran. You couldn't even take it over about 45 mph. By the time I was done spending every last dime I had on repairs, it ran like a dream. Or at least it did on the drive home from the mechanic. I was half a block from home when a punk-ass 15 year old driving a huge van smashed into the car, destroying it and sending me to the emergency room.
